Hunter Bergman is a sophomore attending Northeast Community College. He is studying Business and Marketing. Currently, he is planning on transferring to the University of Nebraska Lincoln to obtain a Bachelor degree with a major in Business Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship. This is his 6th year with the FBLA-PBL organization and during this time he was a former local chapter president and state officer. A visionary to say the least, he wants to revolutionize the way local chapters connect with one another on the state level.

DJ Hardwick

DJ Hardwick is your 2019-2020 Vice President of Membership. He is a sophomore at the University of Nebraska at Kearney studying Business, Marketing, and Information Technology as well as Secondary Education with a minor in Educational Studies. He is planning on becoming a high school business teacher and FBLA adviser. This is his 6th year in the FBLA-PBL organization and has held offices at the local, state, and national levels. DJ is actively involved on and off campus and enjoys volunteering in his spare time. DJ is eager to help create a world of opportunity for all PBL members this year.
Vice President of Communications
Joel Beckwith

Joel Beckwith is your 2019-2020 Vice President of Communications! Throughout his five years in the FBLA-PBL organization, Joel has served as a national officer and is excited to continue his leadership with Nebraska PBL during his second state officer term. Joel is a current junior at UNL majoring in Marketing and Finance with minors in Computer Science and Asian Studies. He is actively involved on campus, being a part of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity and the Nebraska Business Honors Academy.
Outside of PBL, Joel has run two marathons and has worked in the government of Nebraska. Joel looks forward to running communications this year and working with local businesses to spread the word about Nebraska PBL!
Vice President of Finance
Kenny Erickson

Kenny Erickson is a junior double majoring in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has been a member of FBLA-PBL for seven years, holding nine local officer positions, and is excited to step into his role as the Vice President of Finance for the 2019-2020 school year. Kenny has a passion for providing individuals with financial security, as shown by his work with the Nebraska Children’s Home Society and a scholarship he founded at his high school. This passion will follow Kenny throughout his career, starting as an actuary of an insurance company, but ultimately hoping to end up working for Disney either as a corporate/consulting actuary or a financial analyst.
Outside of PBL, Kenny is a member of the Actuarial Science Club, Nebraska Business Honors Academy, Omicron Delta Kappa and is a six-time intramural sports champion. He also is an avid movie goer and Husker Volleyball fan. In his role as VP of Finance, Kenny hopes to strengthen Nebraska PBL’s relationship with existing partners and develop new ones, with which the funds can be used to aid local chapters.

Emily Oestmann

Emily Oestmann is a sophomore at Peru State College majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Marketing. While in college she plans on continuing to build her videography company, South 80 Films. This is her 5th year as a member of FBLA-PBL and during this time she has held many local chapter officer positions. As the VP of Technology, she is excited and committed to assisting her fellow officers in bringing Nebraska PBL to the next level.

Rozlyn Cole

Rozlyn Cole is your 2019-2020 Vice President of Public Relations! Rozlyn is a senior at Peru State College, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Human Resources & Risk Management, Marketing, and Management. Throughout the years, Rozlyn has stayed involved and has invested a lot of time to both her education, extracurricular activities, and the community. Overall, her major passion is for people. This is Rozlyn’s 6th year in the FBLA-PBL organization and she looks forward to working with the State Leadership Team this term to continue to enhance the Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda that we know and love today!
Assistant Vice President
Seth Strudthoff

Seth Strudthoff is a senior at Midland University and is serving as one of your Nebraska PBL Assistant Vice Presidents. He is currently studying Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems. Along with this, he is double majoring in business as well as in arts management with a focus in theatre performance. After he graduates, Seth hopes to go on to use both the tech aspect and performance aspect of his degrees to be an artistic director at a theatre company.
This year, Seth plans to use his skills in both technology and social media to help connect with members around the state. Outside of PBL Seth enjoys performing in theatre and singing. He loves working on computers and spending time with friends and his pups. He also enjoys traveling, seeing new places, and learning new things.
